Who we are

The role of Real Estate Development is to seek new business opportunities related to the commercial exploitation of AIA’s land designated for non-aeronautical use and to perform the contract management of established land concessions.

AIA’s Property Lease activities include the leasing and contract management of offices, storages/ workshops and ancillary spaces in multi-tenant and terminal buildings, CIP Lounges and ticket sales counters. They also include the contract management of single tenant buildings to State entities and the airport’s MRO facilities.

Our Real Estate is comprised of a number of sites, 0.3 million m2 of which has already been developed by the following concessionaires:

  • Airport Retail Park (IKEA, KOTSOVOLOS, FACTORY OUTLET, LEROY MERLIN, SHELL)
  • Airport Hotel (SOFITEL)
  • Exhibition & Conference Centre (METROPOLITAN EXPO)
  • Customs & Cargo Forwarders Offices Building

Property Leases
The Building & Space Leases portfolio is comprisedof over 55,000 m2 of net leasable area, of which approximately 29,000 m2 is related to single - tenant buildings (B10 - Police, B25 - ELTA, B26 - VET, B32 - HCAA), and more than 26,000 m2 (Terminal Buildings and in buildings B11, B12, B17, B18, B19 and B46) is available for commercial lease to 3rd parties.
