In cooperation with the International Contemporary Art Fair “Art-Athina” Athens International Airport presents Jenny Marketou’s animation original work “Stolen Bubbles”, curated by Artemis Potamianou, an animation that reinterprets the classic film by Karel Zeman “The Stolen Airship” (1996). In her work the artist replaces the airship with a moving image of a contemporary air-balloon, contrasting current times with the utopia of an ‘age of innocence’ in the beginning of the century.
