June 2015 - May 2016 The flights up… to the moon for the passengers as well as the visitors of the Athens International Airport, continue for the third year in a row! The “Fly me to the Moon” cultural programme, a multidimensional experience including concerts, happenings and other art projects that inspires new artists to showcase their art in the Athens airport premises, “checks-in” for one more year full of music and surprises! “Fly me to the Moon”… “Fly me to the Moon”, launched in May 2013, is a joint collaboration between the Athens International Airport and “elculture” platform of contemporary culture: The Athens State Orchestra, the Greek National Opera, the Music Village,“His Majesty the King of Spain”, MeliosBalkana Mama, Zoe Tiganouria, Angelika Dusk, along with IliasKarellas Theater Company and Dimitri Vassilakis’ jazz orchestra, as well as unexpected dance events in tango rhythms, compose the new “Fly me to the Moon” programme for passengers and visitors at Athens International Airport.
…and “Let me Play!” This year, however, “Fly me to the Moon” introduces a pleasant surprise for passengers and visitors, as it becomes even more interactive through its new “Let me Play!” section inviting them to play floor games in the airport terminal!
