“Cultural DestiNAtions”

In the framework of AIA's cooperation with the culture platform "ελculture”, the Cultural DestiNAtions program continues within the Airport’s premises. On Friday, December 15th 2023, the airport will host its second destination, Ethiopia. Visitors and Passengers of the Athens International Airport are invited to experience unique Ethiopian customs, music and dance, to taste fine local recipes, meet typical folklore elements of the country, while having the opportunity to engage with the Ethiopian language through (VR) experience and Photo Booth. The spectacle is inspired by the Ethiopian city Lalibela. The program continues and the culture of Ethiopia will be present at the Athens International Airport for a dedicated day to its traditions.
