Parking spaces for disabled persons
Parking spaces for disabled persons are provided at Short Term 2 parking area, designated with special markings. Parking in these spaces is provided at a special price, only €5 per day, on condition of displaying the respective passenger’s disability documentation irrespectively of the degree of disability.
For your better service and to take advantage of special pricing, upon your return, contact the Customer Service Desk, by pressing the info button at the autopay stations and at the entry/exit control units. Otherwise, call at +30 210 3534260 operating on a 24/7 basis.
Passengers with disability are advised to notify about the need and type of assistance services when booking their airline ticket and after parking in the Short Term 2 parking, to use the designated point No 4, located in Short Term 2 parking, and notify on time for their presence so that from that point the respective assistance services be provided.

The Short Term 1 parking at Athens Airport is re-located within the Long Term parking (parking in parking) - at the area around the Pedestrian bridge – offering fast and easy access to the Main Terminal Building.
Entry / Exit Process:
- Enter the Long Term parking area and take your ticket.
- Follow the signs towards Short Term 1 parking area.
- Use your ticket to enter the Short Term 1 parking area.
- Upon return you can pay at Short Term 1 dedicated autopay stations located inside the parking area, near the escalators of the pedestrian bridge. Alternatively, you can pay by card only at the exit barriers of the parking.
- Exit the Short Term 1 parking area by using your ticket.
- Follow the designated lanes of Long Term / Short Term 1 to exit the parking area.
- Use your ticket and the exit barriers will open automatically.
Parking characteristics
- Available only for gate access (not available for online booking).
- 5’ on foot from the Main Terminal Building.
- Free of charge parking for 30 minutes. Valid for 2 entries per day. As of the 3rd entry, charges apply according to the pricelist. For up to 1 hour parking, a charge applies.
- Parking spaces for electric vehicle charging are available.

1’ walking to the Main Terminal Building
The Short Term 2 parking at the Athens Airport is located at the Arrivals level, and it is the ideal option for fast and easy access to the Main Terminal Building.
- Only 1 minute on foot from the Main Terminal Building.
- Better suited for Schengen flights.
- Parking spaces for people with disabilities
- Get 20 minutes of free parking, valid up to 2 entries per day. From the 3rd entry onwards, charges will apply according to the pricelist. For parking up to 1 hour, a €6 charge applies.
- Free Fast Lane priority at security screening points with the Be Fast upgrade.
- Take advantage of the special offers from the airports’ shops and restaurants partnerships.

Free of charge stay for 10 minutes, valid for up to 2 entries per day, in order to pick- up or drop-off passengers, at the pick-up and drop-off points at the Arrivals and Departures level.
Instructions for short-stay at Arrivals and Departures levels:
- Stop in front of the barrier.
- Press the ticket issuing button. The camera records the front license plate of your car.
- The barrier opens and you enter the controlled access area.
- You can stay for up to 10 minutes in the designated short-stay spaces, on the right or left side of the road.
- On your way out, stop at the barriers and scan your ticket.
- The barrier opens and you exit free of charge, provided you have not exceeded the free stay time. If you exceed the free 10 minutes, the charge is €5 for the extra 10 minutes. If you stay longer than 20 minutes, the charge is €1 per minute.
- Payment can be made at the autopay stations by cash or card.
- The maximum duration of stay in the area cannot exceed 60 minutes.
- Vehicles staying for over 60 minutes are removed from the area by crane.
- In these areas, Traffic Regulations applies.
- In accordance with the applicable legislation, if the drivers do not pay for exceeding the free time limit, they will receive a payment notice from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Free parking spaces are available at a dedicated area for motorcycles. The motorcycles parking area is located inside the Long Term parking area with its one separate entrance.
Parking of motorcycles outside the designated parking area is prohibited.
Parking spaces for disabled persons are available at Short Term 2 parking area, designated with special marking. These spaces are offered at a special rate of only €5 per day.

Take advantage of your stay at the airport parking to charge your electric car.
At the Official Airport Parking and specifically at Short Term 1 parking new location (inside Long Term parking), there are 14 electric vehicle charging points. All public charging stations have been installed in cooperation with DEI blue, and they are compatible with all European cable and vehicle standards.
The DEI blue public charging stations combine a variety of AC and DC fast chargers, which can charge up to 160 kW covering many different needs of electric vehicles at the same charging point.
Technical characteristics:
- Five 2 x 22 kW AC dual chargers
- One 160 kW DC high power fast charger
- One 50 kW DC and 22 kW AC fast charger
To charge your vehicle:
- Scan the QR code on the selected charging socket and download the PPC blue app.
- If you have already downloaded the PPC blue app, select “Scan QR” and scan the QR code on the selected charging socket.
- In the app, add the payment method by choosing "Settings/Payment methods/add payment method".
- Connect the charging cable to the vehicle.
- In the app, choose "Start charging".
- The app notifies you when your car has finished charging.
- In the app, choose "Stop charging" to stop the session and remove the cable from the vehicle.
- Upon completion of charging, the corresponding amount is charged to your credit/debit card.

Book your parking space online
Visit parking website, select desired date and time details.
Select the car park that best suits you.
Fill in your personal details.
Complete the details of the vehicle that you plan to use.
Print your Booking Confirmation Email that includes the barcode that corresponds to your booking, confirming all your details.
Upon your entrance
Upon your entrance at the chosen parking lot:
Your vehicle is automatically recognized, provided that the license plates are the same with the ones you stated when confirming your booking. (ATTENTION: Do not press the button for ticket).
Alternatively, you will need to scan the barcode printed at the booking confirmation email at the barcode reader at the car park entrance.
Take the ticket that is automatically issued.
Keep the ticket with you for as long as your car remains at the airport's parking.
Upon your exit
Before proceeding to your car walk to one of the auto pay stations located at the car parking facilities.
You may pay in cash, or by credit card. In case your parking period is shorter or longer than that specified in your booking confirmation email, the appropriate fee for the duration of your stay will be charged based on the price of your online booking.
Keep your paid ticket and drive to the parking exit.
Insert the ticket into the exit control unit and the barrier gate will open.
Upon your entrance
Press the button of the ticket dispenser to receive your parking ticket.
Keep the ticket with you for as long as your car remains at the airport's parking.
Upon your exit
Before proceeding to your car, walk to one of the autopay stations located at the car parking facilities.
You may pay in cash, or by credit card.
Keep your paid ticket and drive to the parking exit.
Insert the ticket into the exit control unit and the barrier gate will open.

Frequently asked questions
You may pay in cash or by debit / credit card. Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club are all accepted.
You can make a booking at least 30 minutes prior to your arrival time.
You can amend your booking up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled arrival time at the parking lot at no charge. Simply click on Manage my Booking button at the top of the homepage and follow the steps.
Extension of the booked parking period can only be made if spaces are available for the entire duration of the requested period. A new booking must then be made. Prices may differ from the initial ones.
While we recommend bringing the booking confirmation email with the reservation barcode, you can still enter the car park without it. Your license plates should be automatically recognized, allowing you to enter. If the system does not issue a ticket upon entry, press the info button at the entrance control unit for assistance. Alternatively, you can have a new confirmation sent by clicking the Manage My Booking button at the top of the website and selecting Resend My Confirmation.
