Prespes Lakes in Florina
Old and weak Dalmatian pelicans that
are unable to migrate, find refuge in the
welcoming wetland sanctuary of the
Prespes Lakes. Arrange a boat trip on the
Great Prespa Lake and, with a little luck,
you’ll see these silver-coloured feathered
“migrants” splashing about in the shadow
of the surrounding mountains.

Στη φιλόξενη υδάτινη αγκαλιά των Πρε-
σπών βρίσκουν καταφύγιο οι γηραιοί και
αδύναμοι αργυροπελεκάνοι που δεν μπο-
ρούν να μεταναστεύσουν. Κανονίστε μια
βαρκάδα στη Μεγάλη Πρέσπα και με λίγη
τύχη τα συναντήσετε τους ασημόχρωμους
φτερωτούς μετανάστες να πλατσουρίζουν
στη σκιά των ελατοσκέπαστων βουνών.
