Celebrating the 400th anniversary of the first publication of the renowned children’s book “Don Quixote”, Athens International Aiport collaborated with the Cervantes Institute and Papadopoulos Publications to present a skilful adaptation by Maria Angelidou and the exceptional illustrations of Vailev Svetlin. During the event that took place on Novemeber 23rd, Hispanic music from the author’s place of origin accompanied the narration of the story while scenes from the theatrical play “Don Quixote” recreated an atmosphere in the spirit and feeling of that era. 

Mε αφορμή τα 400 χρόνια από την πρώτη έκδοση του φημισμένου βιβλίου «Δον Κιχώτης», ο Διεθνής Αερολιμένας Αθηνών σε συνεργασία με το Ινστιτούτο Θερβάντες και τις Εκδόσεις Παπαδόπουλος  παρουσίασε στις 23 Νοεμβρίου 2005 μία διασκευή του βιβλίου από τη Μαρία Αγγελίδου σε μια εξαιρετική εικονογράφηση από τον Βασίλεβ Σβέτλιν. Την εκδήλωση πλαισίωσαν ισπανικοί ήχοι καθώς και ένα απόσπασμα από τη θεατρική παράσταση «Δον Κιχώτης», αναπαράγοντας έτσι με πειστικότητα την ατμόσφαιρα της εποχής.
