Athens International Airport participates in the European research project ASP-NET for the development of new generation technology services network

Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" participates in the European research project ASP-NET (Application Service Providers NETwork), within the framework of GROWTH (Competitive and Sustainable Growth Programme).

Aim of ASP-NET is to develop a network of state-of-the-art service providers for applications that will contribute decisively to the successful operation of modern entreprises.

ASP-NET programme - of 24-month duration - will develop 3 new generation services, that will cover the technological requirements of modern entreprises, for

• e-messaging
• entreprise project management
• human resources management

ASP-NET research project has a total budget of 3.4 million EURO, of which 1.65 million EURO will be funded by the European Commission.
