Children will enjoy a ‘special journey’ at Athens International Airport on Wednesday, November 23rd.
On the occasion of the celebrations of the 400th anniversary since the first edition of the masterpiece of Miguel de Cervantes, Athens International Airport, in cooperation with Papadopoulos Publications and Instituto Cervantes–Atenas, has the pleasure to host the presentation of the children’s book “Don Quixote”, adapted by Maria Angelidou.
The presentation will take place on Wednesday, November 23rd, at 18:00 at the main Terminal Building / Departures Level (entrance 2). In the spirit of the times of Cervantes, young book lovers will enjoy music from Spain, birthplace of the great author, they will admire the wonderful paintings of illustrator Vasilev Svetlin, and will have a great time enjoying part of the children’s play “Don Quixote”.
Within the framework of its cultural and social responsibility initiatives programme, Athens International Airport is embracing one more cultural activity for children. This time, together with Papadopoulos Publications and Instituto Cervantes, the Airport invites young book lovers to a special ‘literary journey’ at the airport, a place connecting people and cultures.
The presentation of the book “Don Quixote” is the second of a series of activities for children, organized in 2005 by Athens International Airport in cooperation with Papadopoulos Publications.
