Privacy Notice for Business Partners

The provision of your personal data to Athens International Airport S.A. (AIA) 

AIA acknowledges and respects the importance of your privacy. This Notice provides you with information on how and why AIA processes your personal data and outlines your respective rights, in compliance with applicable data protection legislation. 

AIA commits: 

  1. To process the limited amount and type of personal data necessary for each defined process activity and required service; 
  2. Not to process your personal data for purposes other than those disclosed to you herein; 
  3. To safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of your data whilst at our disposal. 

To this effect, we wish to inform you on the following:

  3. Types of personal data collected: Your name and professional email address, as provided by you, or your organization, or indicated through your publicly available business details, during Aviation Industry Networking Fora and Working Groups, or other professional encounter.

Purpose of personal data processing: Exclusively for the provision of corporate communication and industry updates between AIA and your Organization as Business Stakeholder, including invitations to business events. Your data may be further  processed by our communications and public relations partners, responsible, as necessary, for the fulfillment of the processing purpose, bound to observe their respective personal data integrity, availability and confidentiality responsibilities.

  7. Personal Data Retention Period:  Your data is retained in AIA’s Corporate Database until you wish otherwise. 
    Note:AIA may retain your personal data for the duration of any period necessary to establish, exercise or defend any legal rights or at such longer retention period as may be required by applicable law.
