Athens airport provides airport passengers and visitors, as well as employees of the airport community, with first aid medical care services on a 24-hour basis with the fully equipped First Aid Station and the airport’s medical infrastructure. Pharmacy is also available.

For emergency situations, Athens airport’s fully equipped First Aid Station operates on a 24-hour basis. The station is staffed by personnel of the National Centre for Emergency Care, ready to provide prompt medical assistance in emergency situations.

Athens Airport has installed several defibrillators, stored in special cabinets, strategically located within the Terminal Areas. Relevant signage has also been mounted for their easy identification.

At the special configured by the Athens Medical Centre premises, located at the Arrivals level (between exit 2 & 3), one may take a molecular RT-PCR (cost: 47€) or Rapid diagnostic test (cost: 10€) for SARS-COV-2 (Covid-19).
