October 18 & 25: Belleville (Departures level – airport’s shopping centre – Area open to the public, time: 13:00-15:00) “Musicport” continues at the Athens airport, with a “noir” cabaret atmosphere of the interwar era, a nostalgic mood and subtle touches of humor: For the two coming Fridays, the airport welcomes Belleville, a local band whose musical influences range from jazz, blues and swing to music and theatre. They have also participated in the project RETROPOLIS 1 by Michael Cacoyanes Foundation, in the Francophone Film Festival, in the 3rd World Jazz Festival, in “The Nouvelle Vague Days” by Pepper radio station in Stavros tou Notou club, in “Vaudeville Revue”, as well as in regional events such as the “May Days” festival, “Days of Rethymno” and more.
