New arrivals for “Musicport”, in… a dance mood: Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 30, the unique in its genre Dora Stratou Dance Theatre invites travellers and airport visitors to a special journey full of dance, traditional music and Greek rhythm! Featuring live music with a bouzouki and a guitar, from 13:00 – 15:00, at the arrivals level, open access to all visitors. Since 1953 it comprises the living museum of Greek Traditional Dance. It presents dances, songs and music in their authentic form, as they used to be or still are in the whole Greek territory, from the villages of the continental country to the islands. The costumes are hand-made, original museum pieces dated back one century ago. The costumes of the dance group count more than 2.000 pieces from all over Greece and are accompanied with original accessories and jewelry.
