The Short Term 1 parking area is now closed and relocated within the Long Term parking, in a dedicated area, around the pedestrian bridge of the airport's Railway Station.

It is now located within the Long Term parking area, around the the pedestrian bridge, providing easy and direct access to the Main Terminal Building.

The motorcycle parking areas located within and in front of the Short Term 1 parking have been discontinued since 03/07 and have been relocated to a specially designated area within the Long Term parking. The new area has a separate entrance, next to the main entrance of the Long Term parking, and will offer free access to all motorcycle users.

The Short Term 1 & 2 parking areas are now available ONLY for direct parking upon arrival at the airport, without online reservation. Online booking is still available for Economy, Long Term, and Valet parking areas.

The primary purpose of the Short Term 1 & 2 parking areas is short-term parking and to meet the needs of passenger pick-up and drop-off. Our goal is to ensure greater availability of spaces for direct parking upon arrival at the airport, to better serve passengers and visitors. The Short Term 1 & 2 parking areas remain available for short or brief parking upon arrival at the airport.

You will be able to receive real-time information about available spaces in each parking area from the electronic guidance signs on the Attiki Odos highway.

Follow the signs on Attiki Odos towards the Long Term / Short Term parking. Upon reaching the entrance of the Long Term parking, take your ticket and follow the signs directing you to the entrance of the Short Term 1 parking area.

No, you use the same ticket you received when entering the Long Term parking.

The free parking time increases to 30 minutes, instead of the previous 20 minutes.

At the automated payment kiosks marked “Short Term 1 Automated Payment Kiosks” located under the pedestrian bridge. Alternatively, you can pay by card at the exit of the Short Term 1 parking.

 

Insert your ticket into the kiosk located at the exit of the Short Term 1 parking lot. Take the ticket and then proceed towards the main parking exit.
ATTENTION! Follow the appropriate signs, as there are different exit lanes for Long Term and Short Term 1 users.

When you reach the final exit barriers, insert the same ticket into the kiosk and the barrier will open.

Press the communication button on the entry/exit kiosks and a staff member will assist you.

A new multi-storey parking is being built on the Short Term 1 parking area. It will consist of seven floors, covering approximately 98,500 square meters and offering 3,365 parking spaces.
 

 

Approximately 5 minutes on foot, depending on where you have parked.

The Short Term 2 parking will continue to operate normally, in the same location, but will be available ONLY for direct parking upon arrival at the airport, without the option for online reservation.

 

The chargers are being relocated to the new Short Term 1 parking area, at specific spots near the pedestrian bridge.

Short Term 2 will continue to serve short-term parking needs, but without the option for online reservation.

The multi-storey parking and the runway expansion started on July 2025 and are expected to be completed by the end of 2027.
