Free parking spaces are available at the Arrivals level, before Short Term 1 parking.
Parking spaces for disabled persons
Parking spaces for disabled persons and/or persons with reduced mobility are provided at Short-Term (1 & 2) and Long-Term parking, designated with special markings. Parking in these spaces is provided at a special price, only €5 per day.
For your better service and to take advantage of special pricing, upon your return, contact the Customer Service Desk, by pressing the info button at the autopay stations and at the entry/exit control units. Otherwise, call at +30 210 3534260 operating on a 24/7 basis.
Electric Vehicles
Take advantage of your stay at Short Term 1 parking to charge your electric car.
At the Official Airport Parking, there are 14 electric vehicle charging points, at Short Term 1 parking. All public charging stations have been installed in cooperation with DEI Blue, and they are compatible with all European cable and vehicle standards.
The DEI Blue public charging stations combine a variety of AC and DC fast chargers, which can charge up to 120 kW covering many different needs of electric vehicles at the same charging point.
Technical characteristics:
- Five 2 x 22 kW AC dual chargers
- One 120 kW DC high power fast charger (or 2 x 60 kW DC chargers)
- One 50 kW DC and 22 kW AC fast charger
To charge your vehicle:
- Scan the QR code on the selected charging socket and download the DEI Blue app.
- If you have already downloaded the DEI Blue app, select “Scan QR” and scan the QR code on the selected charging socket.
- In the app, add the payment method by choosing "Settings/Payment methods/add payment method".
- Connect the charging cable to the vehicle.
- In the app, choose "Start charging".
- The app notifies you when your car has finished charging.
- In the app, choose "Stop charging" to stop the session and remove the cable from the vehicle.
- Upon completion of charging, the corresponding amount is charged to your credit/debit card.

Pick up - Drop off zone
Free of charge stay for 10 minutes, valid for up to 2 entries per day, in order to pick- up or drop-off passengers, at the pick-up and drop-off pointsat the Arrivals and Departures level.
Instructions for short-stay at Arrivals and Departures levels:
- Stop in front of the barrier.
- Press the ticket issuing button. The camera records the front license plate of your car.
- The barrier opens and you enter the controlled access area.
- You can stay for up to 10 minutes in the designated short-stay spaces, on the right or left side of the road.
- On your way out, stop at the barriers and scan your ticket.
- The barrier opens and you exit free of charge, provided you have not exceeded the free stay time. If you exceed the free 10 minutes, the charge is €5 for the extra 10 minutes. If you stay longer than 20 minutes, the charge is €1 per minute.
- Payment can be made at the autopay stations by cash or card.
- The maximum duration of stay in the area cannot exceed 60 minutes.
- Vehicles staying for over 60 minutes are removed from the area by crane.
- In these areas, Traffic Regulations (KOK) applies.
- In accordance with the applicable legislation, if the drivers do not pay for exceeding the free time limit, they will receive a payment notice from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
