On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, the heart of the airport beats to festive swing, jazz, and rock ’n’ roll rhythms, with a rich holiday program that combines music, dance, entertainment, artistic workshops, and interactive fun activities for all ages.
The Departures and Arrivals levels of Athens International Airport becomes a meeting point where passengers and airport visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy live shows and parallel fun activations lasting two hours.
On the Departures stage, at Gate 3, on Wednesday, December 24, we will enjoy the unbeatable energy of the George Zervos Quartet in a program that blends beloved and classic Christmas melodies, covers, and contemporary rock ’n’ roll sounds, accompanied by dance performances that energize the audience. On Wednesday, December 31, the festive glow takes off with Analogue Affair, who create a swing, retro pop, and cinematic jazz atmosphere and take us on a musical journey with their sounds.
The live shows are followed by a dynamic 30-minute DJ set featuring Christmas tunes we all love, upbeat rhythms, and favorite hits, creating the perfect holiday prelude or afterparty. The music program is complemented by parallel activities: at the “Create & Gift” workshop, we make DIY Christmas ornaments and small handmade gifts, while at the “Capture the Magic” photobooth, we capture festive memories forever with holiday props in an impressive setting.
In the Arrivals area, live saxophone fills the space on both days, while two modern elves hand out gifts and spread glitter and sparkle.
