Video art projection by Swiss artist Yves Ackermann - "My Love Soon"

Overview

Athens International Airport collaborated with Ileana Tounta Contemporary Art Center to host a video art projection under the title “My Love soon” by Swiss artist Yves Ackermann from February 27th to June 25th 2013.

The imagery of this video extends to painting with references to symbolism and realism. The artist emphasizes on the importance of time trying to focus on special moments thus sustaining an action of stopping time rather than freezing it. The homonym song “My Love Soon”, which is the video’s soundtrack, was originally recorded in 2000 by Swiss composer Balduin.
