Traffic Arrangements as of 21/07/2025, in the context of the construction works for the new multi-storey car park

•   One traffic lane is closed from the entrance to the outer arrivals’ road to the Sofitel hotel.
•   The Short Term 1 parking area is now closed, and its operation has been fully relocated to the Long-Term parking area.
•   It is recommended to allow extra time for driving through the area.

Exhibition «META-MORPHOSIS | AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE»

Athens International Airport, in collaboration with the Athens Digital Arts Festival (ADAF), presents the new multimedia and futuristic exhibition “META-MORPHOSIS | An Immersive Experience,” as part of the partnership between the two institutions.

The exhibition is focused on the concept of transformation and explores the ongoing process of change: where nature meets technology, the past enters into dialogue with the present, and the real intertwines with the imaginary. Through the striking video installation, visitors are invited to reflect on the environmental, social, cultural, and technological transformations shaping the world around us.

The experience translates complex concepts, such as climate change and rapid technological advancement, into powerful visual imagery and immersive digital environments, fostering dialogue and critical reflection on the future.
