Overview
Located in the Athens airport Main Terminal Building (Departures Level - Entrance 3), the permanent exhibition of archaeological findings discovered in Mesogaia, contains 172 archaeological artifacts dating from the Neolithic and Early Helladic to the Post-Byzantine Periods. Inaugurated in 2003, it aims to highlight the rich cultural heritage of the area.
Copies of some of the more important artifacts brought to light during the airport construction are also exhibited at the front entrances of the airport - Departures Level.
