Fournos Theophilos

When we first thought of setting up Fournos Theofilos, the last thing we had in mind was a physical store:

Our Fournos felt more like an “Ark”, a space where we wished to collect, value, showcase and offer the most precious culinary treasures produced in this country, in the best possible quality we could find.

Unique honeys, the purest of the pure virgin olive oils, baklavas, walnut pies, Smyrna cookies kneaded by proud artisan feasts, fine nuts, and all those other products that constitute the pieces forming the mosaic of our culinary memories.

As a tribute to the great folk artist who lent his name to our vision, we decorated our space with his art, enhanced by visual elements from our collaboration with the Benaki Museum.
