Cultural DestiNAtions

Athens International Airport invites its passengers and visitors to explore new destinations with another cultural experience that will "bring to life" the DNA of different places and cultures through the Cultural DestiNAtions program. 

On Monday, December 4th, at the Departures Level of Athens International Airport, we will virtually travel to India, a unique country, a mosaic of cultures, tribes, ethnicities, religions, and customs. With an exciting historical journey, a great musical tradition, aromas, and flavors, India is a country defined by multiculturalism. 

With India as the first destination, the Cultural DestiNAtions program, a cultural initiative by Athens International Airport and the contemporary cultural platform elculture, will continue throughout December and into 2024, offering experiences from unique places around the world. This will be an opportunity to explore the customs, traditions, and characteristics of each culture, filled with music, gastronomic delights, and many surprises!
